Why we exist

A mother's refusal to accept the unacceptable.

Bleu's Rainbow was born from the worst kind of failure — a system that had every tool to protect a child and chose not to use them. Ivy McAssey built this organization so that failure would never be the final word.

The founding

How Bleu's Rainbow began

Ivy McAssey founded Bleu's Rainbow after her four-year-old daughter, Bleu McKay, was sex trafficked — and after every institution that should have protected Bleu chose to look away instead.

For two years, Ivy documented, advocated, and fought. She brought evidence to law enforcement. She reported to child services. She watched as Interpol found thousands of indecent images of Bleu on the dark web and on the devices of Bleu's own guardian — and still, the US refused to act.

The trafficking ring that took Bleu had ties to the Russian Federation and to networks once affiliated with Jeffrey Epstein. It was powerful. It was protected. And it was still operating.

On March 21, 2025, Bleu was found in an abandoned house in Idaho — resuscitated with three doses of Narcan and CPR. She survived. She was later smuggled to Ukraine. Ivy is still fighting.

About Ivy McAssey

Our purpose

What we fight for

Exposure

We expose trafficking rings, name the networks, and document the evidence that powerful institutions refuse to act on.

Accountability

We demand accountability from the law enforcement agencies, child services systems, and government bodies that failed Bleu — and continue to fail children like her.

Justice

We fight for justice for Bleu McKay, for the thousands of Ukrainian children kidnapped and trafficked by this same network, and for every victim the system has abandoned.

Awareness

We refuse silence. Every story shared, every voice raised, every person who refuses to look away is part of the fight.

The wider crisis

The Ukrainian children crisis

The same trafficking network that took Bleu McKay has kidnapped and trafficked thousands of Ukrainian children. These children have no advocates in the headlines. Their names are not known. Their faces are not on the news.

Bleu's Rainbow fights for them too. The scope of this network — its ties to the Russian Federation, its reach across borders, its protection by powerful interests — demands an international response. We are building that response, one voice at a time.

The founder

About Ivy McAssey

Ivy McAssey is a mother, an advocate, and the founder of Bleu's Rainbow. She has spent years fighting a system that failed her daughter — documenting evidence, demanding accountability, and refusing to be silenced. She built Bleu's Rainbow not out of hope that the system would change on its own, but out of the conviction that it must be forced to.

Join the fight.

Bleu's story is not over. The ring is still operating. Justice has not been served. But the fight continues — and it needs your voice.

Bleu's Rainbow
